Frequently asked questions
When can we arrive at the campsite?
In low season, you can arrive any day you like! Arrival times are in the afternoon, from 4pm to 6pm. If you are delayed or unable to arrive, please contact us by telephone. In high season, arrivals are only possible on Saturdays. Arrivals are from 4pm to 8pm. If you arrive earlier, you can enjoy the campsite and its facilities (heated pool, bar/snack bar) while waiting for your mobile home.
How do I apply for VACAF benefits?
Once you’ve received your letter, call our campsite. We’ll guide you through booking your mobile home and paying for part of your vacation with VACAF.
Is the campsite by the water?
Our campsite enjoys an exceptional location, with its feet in the water! From the campsite, you have a view of the sea, the lagoon and the Belle Henriette nature reserve. As the campsite is located at the foot of a nature reserve, and to preserve the tranquillity of our bird friends, it is not possible to swim in front of the campsite. By taking a 1,500-meter-long customs road, you can access the beach without crossing a road or taking a car…
Does the campsite have a heated swimming pool?
We have two pools at Camping Les Violettes: an open-air pool and an indoor pool, both of which are accessible from the moment the campsite opens! The indoor pool is heated to 28 degrees from the moment the campsite opens, while the open-air pool is heated to 26 degrees from May 13 to September 17.
Is television available in our mobile home?
Yes, a TV is available in every one of our mobile homes, and this service is included in the price of your stay (excluding reservations via Mistercamp). But don’t spend your time in front of the TV, come and enjoy the sea view and the beautiful beaches of the Vendée.
Is wifi available on the campsite?
Wifi is available throughout our campsite. There is a charge for this service, and the price depends on the number of days you choose. Prices are displayed at reception, and are available when you connect to the campsite network.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, our 4-legged friends are welcome at an additional cost. They must not belong to categories 1 or 2, and a photocopy of the vaccination certificate is compulsory.
Does the campsite have a kids’ club?
Yes, we have a kids’ club for children aged 6 to 12. It’s open in high season, Monday to Friday, from 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 5pm.
Is the campsite a bread depot?
Yes, in high season. All you have to do is order your bread and pastries the day before, and pick them up from 8:30 a.m. at reception.
