Marinas on the Ile d’Oléron

Arrivals, departures, destinations, journeys… Harbors are fascinating places. The Ile d’Oléron boasts four major marinas. Whether it’s for the pleasure of living on the water, tourism or any other reason, the passion for boating is lived to the full both above and below deck, on the quayside. Admire the sailboats, trimarans, catamarans, speedboats and other yachts… Your Saint-Tro’Park campsite in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains offers a wide choice of places to visit during your seaside vacation.

The Saint-Denis-d’Oléron marina, the largest in France

With its 750 berths, the Saint-Denis marina is the largest on the Ile d’Oléron. It’s also the 3rd largest in the Charente-Maritime department! Did you know that it’s also one of the oldest? It dates back to the 12th century, the fruit of major trading activity between Oléron and Northern Europe. At the time, in exchange for its wine, Saint-Denis imported a wide range of materials: wood, cereals, fabrics and more. Today, with its many shops and businesses, it is an essential tourist destination…

The Boyardville marina, the most seaside of all

Would you like to admire the sumptuous boats in Boyardville ‘s marina? In the heart of a pretty little coastal village, it’s located along the Perrotine channel. This pleasant seaside resort is bordered by the Saumonards forest . One of the most beautiful on the island.

Château-d’Oléron’s most artistic marina and oyster port

Would you like to drop anchor for a day or a whole year in the Château d’Oléron marina? Yes, you can. But you should know that it’s also an oyster-farming port that’s still active. Between the colorful artists’ studios set up in the old oyster huts and the real craftsmen of the seas who work with the tides, the stroll is well worth the detour.

The Cotinière marina and fishing port, the most unusual of all

Soles, langoustines, ceteaux, sea bass, lobsters – many noble and renowned species are caught in the port of La Cotinière. In fact, it’s the leading fishing port in the Charente! What makes it irresistible, in summer or off-season, is its proximity to the waterfront and its many shops and restaurants. They allow you to stroll and relax facing the ocean.

The port and channel of Le Douhet, the most intimate

Rehabilitated in the late 80s, this little port is sometimes hard to find. Nestled between La Brée-les-Bains, Saint-Georges d’Oléron and Boyardville, we recommend you take the cycle path. The scenery is magnificent. Intimate and surprising, it is nonetheless lively during the summer months.

The miniature port of Ti Bato in Saint-Georges d’Oléron, a real treat for children!

Faithful reproductions of the legendary ferries, trawlers and steamers of the Mississippi, the small electric or pedal-powered boats on the Prés-Valet pond welcome young and old alike. Located in Saint-Georges, Ti Bato ‘s miniature harbor is a family outing to be enjoyed at least once!
